Beyond the lifelong friendships that began in childhood, many people got to know John during his time as a bass guitar player in popular local bands: The Poor Boys, Soul Impression, and Green Street. He forged many friendships during his college years, as well. Even during the short time he was a substitute teacher in the Harrisburg School District, he made friendships that lasted through his life. John’s personality and natural skill for putting people at ease led him to a long career in marketing.
